Customer Information. We only gather information about customers (name, address, credit card number, etc.) at the time an order is placed, and this information is used only to fill orders.
We don't sell, give, or trade customer information to anyone for any purpose, and it is our policy never to do so in the future.
World of Boxes is a small, financially stable family business with no debt, so there is no danger that we would go bankrupt and be pressured to sell customer lists, like some failed "dot.bombs" recently in the news. |

Email. Any email we send to customers relates to their orders - confirmation of receipt, shipment, or notification of any processing problems.
We don not send unsolicited marketing emails. In the future, we might have a periodic newsletter for box enthusiasts, but only those who request it. |

Cookies. Our server requires a cookie (a small text file stored on your computer that identifies you) in order to maintain a shopping cart of multiple boxes.
Without a cookie, you can still purchase boxes, but only one at a time. Our shopping cart cookie is a session cookie only, and is deleted whenever you close your browser.
If you reached us via an affiliate site, our server offers a six-month cookie, to make sure we give them credit for helping you to find us.
Cookies from our site are sent back only to our server, not to any third party. |

Data Security. We safeguard your credit card number simply by not storing it anywhere accessible from the Internet.
Essential credit card information is removed securely to offline storage media shortly after your order is placed.
